Cozy Corner Grandma House - Unreal Engine 5
EmberGen simulation and Unreal Engine 5.4 Preview.

EmberGen sim is 16.52M voxels and uses the loop simulation mode to create a loop look and exported 128 frames in VDB format with attributes density and flame with approximately 700MB disk size.

I used a custom geometry to create a realistic fireplace simulation as an emitter source with 3 mask controls in vertex colors (RGB).

Rendered using path tracer and 1024 sub-sampling frames for denoising purposes with RTX 4090. The Intel OpenImageDenoise type is the default denoiser type in these renderings. I will do some tests in the future on the NFOR denoise plugin that was added recently on the ue5-main branch.

The environment is the combination of assets from Quixel, Poly Haven, and Sketchfab with custom-made shaders to alter the look that suits the environment including the vegetation animation (house plant) is driven by an animated shader.
