GATE - Fushimi Inari Taisha - Realistic Environment

"The Fushimi Inari Shrine is home to thousands of Torii gates that straddle a network of trails into Mount Inari. Our team paid close attention to the smaller details when recreating part of this iconic landmark.
We used a combination of Blender, ZBrush, Photoshop, Substance Painter, and Unreal Engine 4. The main idea was to ‘kitbash’ certain assets from different props we could find on the UE Marketplace and Megascans – combining them with custom-built assets to give the feeling of a real-world environment." My duties as a Level Artist and Senior Technical Artist.
• Design and assemble photo-realism scenes and environment, and ensure final art runs to full visual resolution.
• Responsible for lighting, shading, ray tracing setup, RTX Nvidia DLSS, and texturing for the environment, props, and assets.
• Create VFX based on Cascate Particle and Niagara Systems and various Simulation systems.
• Setting up workflows, and pipelines and maintaining production and optimization.
• Solving and debugging complex technical issues during development.
• Prototyping and development tools and software to execute the needs of this project.
• Implementation of gameplay framework and two playable scenarios, campaign and exploration mode.
• Blueprint scripting for various frameworks such as weather system and dialogue system
• Packaging the project as executable for various platforms.
