Quantum Chaos Project Unreal Engine 5.4 Lumen - Realistic 60 FPS 4K (Including Breakdown)
This project was done in Unreal Engine 5.4 and the aim was to create a photorealistic cinematic from a first-person point of view.

- Lumen global illumination and reflection have been used with engine console command tweaks to enhance the quality further.
- Some assets are modeled in Unreal Engine using the modeling tool and other assets are from Sketchfab, and Unreal Marketplace such as the City Subway Train Modular with heavy tweaking of assets inside the engine.
Buildings from Kitbash3d Neo City with new shader enhancement tweaks in combination with Unreal Material creation and Quixel shaders and 8K textures.
- I have made various prefab blueprint assets in the scene (dynamic assets) for modularity and ease of reuse.
- I have recorded the camera animation live using Unreal Engine Virtual Camera (Unreal VCam app) using my iPad.
- Interior cubemap technique to simulate an endless train that moves when the train is on the move.
- I have used both Nanite and traditional geometry in the scene to utilize both of their workflow and power.
- Some of the shadows in the scenes are raytraced shadows and the majority of the lights are using Virtual Shadow Map (VSM).
- I have created and used multiple post-process materials to enhance the pixel quality represented in the scene such as sharpening the pixels.
- I have used posters from the Cyberpunk 2077 game to bring the environment closer to the game as I am a huge fan of the game.
- Rendered with RTX 4090 using Movie Render Queue with additional parameters, console commands, and settings to tweak the engine to produce higher quality.
